Sunday, June 10, 2012. So, we went to Hawaii! Yeah, we know this poor little blog is severely out of date, but a lot has been happening at the Cloud household that has kept us from blogging, like we went to Hawaii! For Spring Break this year we decided we wanted to go somewhere big, and C found some stellar flight deals, so to Hawaii we went! The trip was everything and more that it was advertised to be! The Na Pali coast was gorgeous! C did a little snorkeling and thought it was cool. I got on all o...

Living on Cloud Nine: December 2010
http://thecloudfamilyblog.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Monday, December 20, 2010. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas" . . . well kind of. December came and went all too quickly! After we returned from Thanksgiving our task was to get our house decked out for Christmas. Inside we put up the tree, the nativity, and a garland. Outside Chris covered the bushes with soft white LED lights - which didn't even put a dent in our power usage for the month. I made a wreath to hang on the front door and we called it good for this year! Have a look . . . We are ...

Living on Cloud Nine: Better late than never! Summer Vaca
http://thecloudfamilyblog.blogspot.com/2011/10/better-late-than-never-summer-vaca.html
Saturday, October 15, 2011. Better late than never! This past August we escaped the Texas heat and headed to the west coast to visit C's fam and favorite childhood vacation spots. While we could devote a post to each place we visited, we've included some websites so we can spare you the travel log! After our visit we spent a morning in Napa, CA, the birthplace of C in the B C! On the way out the Napa Valley we stopped at Jimtown, a Diners, Drive-ins and Dives stop. We finally made it to Southern Oregon's...

Living on Cloud Nine: January 2011
http://thecloudfamilyblog.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Monday, January 31, 2011. January - Part 1. January started out with a little Sunday snow storm. We LOVED the snow, it reminded us of how much we miss it. Texans are a little more cautious than necessary when it comes to snow, and as such church was canceled early. We came home to a delicious, warm hash-brown soup, camped out in front of the fireplace and watched the Sound of Music. Until next time,. Sunday, January 9, 2011. Christmas Eve was definitely one for the books! Hopefully she'll forgive me for ...

Tuesday, October 5, 2010. I'll tell you one thing it's always better when we're together." Jack Johnson. Jack Johnson's lyrics ring true with C and I. Life is better because we're together. On September 5th we celebrated our first anniversary! It was that special touch that made the evening. Our weekend was relaxing and we loved spending it together. Living on Cloud Nine: July 2012
http://thecloudfamilyblog.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 30, 2012. 75%, three-quarters, or in this case 30/40. Our Cake from a little "shower" in Denver. Yep, we're having a "blue" baby Cloud! This week marks the end 30 weeks, which means about 10 to go. We, well mainly I, have wanted to keep this joyful news to ourselves, but alas we'll have to tell the world sooner or later. (People might think we stole a baby when we suddenly have one! The first trimester was pretty much a breeze. Heck, we even went to Hawaii. He often talks to him about playin...

Living on Cloud Nine: May 2011
http://thecloudfamilyblog.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Saturday, May 14, 2011. Just keep swimming, just keep sw-er-running! The horn blew and 1300 of my new found friends and I started running. C was keeping track of our mile times and we were rocking it! The final stretch came and I kicked it in full gear, knocked 2 people off I was hoping to beat, and finished in 35:17 (according to the chip on my shoe)! A new personal record! It was awesome and we had a ton of fun. After the run the market provided a decadent breakfast, a perfect ending to the race! 2 - c...
