The bad part is, which I wasn't clear about before, Little M not only has eosinophil white cells in his esophagus, they are also present in his stomach. He has both eosinophilic esophagitis and eosinophilic gastritis. I am keeping positive but everyday there is vomiting is etching away at my positivity. This disease sucks. For food he tested positive for rice, wheat, soy, eggs, peas, green beens, chicken, beef, lamb, pork. As far as food allergies goes, most people are only aller...

Stubborn Monkeys: November 2013
http://stubbornmonkeys.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
Friday, November 29, 2013. Our long weekend began yesterday since the kids thanksgiving break started yesterday. Since the kids are not allowed to watch TV during the weekday, it slipped their mind that they really could because there is no school. I wasn't going to remind them of the fact especially since they played board games almost the whole day. We started with pictionary. Even Little M was quite an artist. The Twister game didn't last very long. The mat on the wood floor was quite tricky. We fille...

Stubborn Monkeys: My grandmother would be proud
http://stubbornmonkeys.blogspot.com/2014/05/my-grandmother-would-be-proud.html
Sunday, May 18, 2014. My grandmother would be proud. The thing about the different diet restrictions in our house is that we now had to eat at home all the time and I have to pretty much experiment and come up with my own recipe. It's a good thing though - we are all healthier for it. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I am a SAHM, wife of 16 years and mother to a 4 kids (crazy, I know! View my complete profile. Stubborn Monkeys: March 2013
http://stubbornmonkeys.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 31, 2013. Ive been sewing up a storm. I bought some patterns and got to cutting. I cut 8 pairs of shorts (some for the boys too) and Capri pants and pants. The girls are size 7 on dresses that I've been making so I just instantly picked that size to cut. It turns out that's a little snug after I completed one pair. What was I to do? I then bought a pattern for me. Shocker! Make something for me? On another note, the hearts fabric were on clearance when I bought them - so everything I make i...

Stubborn Monkeys: We can't look alike!
http://stubbornmonkeys.blogspot.com/2014/05/we-can-look-alike.html
Monday, May 19, 2014. We cant look alike! A couple of weeks ago, J got a shorter haircut. She loved it and she said everyone else loved it too. Daddy and I thought for sure that no one would mistake them for each other and people would appreciate that. This week K finally got her haircut. We tried to make it different, like no bangs, but really, how different can we make the haircut without cutting drastically? J got mad and said, "Mommy, she looks like me! Stubborn Monkeys: Endoscopy #2 and Colonoscopy
http://stubbornmonkeys.blogspot.com/2013/12/endoscopy-2-and-colonoscopy.html
Monday, December 30, 2013. Endoscopy #2 and Colonoscopy. Little had his 2nd endoscopy a couple of days ago and colonoscopy. After a failed attempt. A week and a half ago, it finally happened successfully. We did not do the magnesium citrate route this time around, and opted for Miralax and a slower approached (one extra day). It worked out so much better. He didn't even notice what he was drinking. As always, it was tough to deny him food though. You were the very good little boy! I accompanied Little M ...
