A year teaching English in Taiwan. Sunday, June 14, 2009. 選手注意! 預備! 殺! The races were on May 27 and 28. Earlier Mary and I had gone to the meeting to draw our place in the bracket, and our first race was against Yilan University's chemical engineering students. Perhaps unexpectedly, we defeated them in both shallow and deep lanes. Beth was an excellent grabber. Next we raced against a team of doctors, but couldn't keep up with their lightning speed:. 蓮葉何田田: December 2008
http://tianlo.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
A year teaching English in Taiwan. Sunday, December 7, 2008. Let's welcome the band. I have to admit, I had my doubts when they told us we would be working at a co-school for two months out of the year, in November and March. How much could happen in such a short, fractured time? They even made me give a speech and play the erhu for them, and presented me with this card that the whole class had signed. In just a short month, these students truly touched me. I'm going to miss them. Lets welcome the band.
