Tuesday, December 24, 2013. 3ABN and the Philippines. What follows is a rundown of my trip to 3ABN:. Now, on to the Philippines. Got to spend 23 hours on the Waikiki beach in Honolulu. That was fun in spite of being alone. I ran on the beach for four miles and got soaked in sweat. It was good. Running in Colorado is more difficult for the elevation. Tuesday, October 28, 2014. The last three meetings were very well attended. As a matter of fact, the small church was full. Some people were disappointed that there were not more people, but at the same time, I felt there were some very good, very interested, very intelligent people showing a real desire to be led of God. I suppose it is pride, but I really didn’t want my friends to think that my sequestering a dentist in their area was calculated to get a handout. Tuesday, November 25, 2014. When I was in Hungary, I could write a blog every day. And why Not? Everything was new and interesting. At home, well, same old, same old. Janet is asked to manage four apartment blocks (120 apartments) for OCI. Now that's a challenge! It will be interesting to see how that works for her and for OCI. (She awaits her job description.). A search committee was organized to find someone to replace me at EVI. Five or six names have been vetted, but none are able to come. Ac...Oh, a...

Friday, March 7, 2014. Almost all my weekends are booked from here to May with ASI Chapter meetings, board meetings and preaching seminars. Samuel Stapleton, son of Patty and Larry Stapleton, passed away on March 5. He was 34 years old. (We worked together in Africa for 4 years.) We live in a world of tragedy. Come, Lord Jesus. Sunday, September 29, 2013. Through the Jet Lag Fog. As you have heard, Colorado is devastated with floods. Eden Valley was without natural gas, or internet for nearly one week after I came home. We had to give our lifestyle guests some money back because we couldn't give them fever therapy. We had no natural gas to heat the water.
