From the beautiful rolling hills of Giles County. Monday, January 25, 2010. A somewhat controlled burn" Winter 2010. It's hard to believe it has been almost nine months since the last post. This year has been one of stutter steps and t. Logan and Stanton in the field before the burn. Looking toward the burn area across the pond. A couple of weeks after the burn. Tanner is arranging for a dozer in a week or two to create the wildlife openings we were going to work on last weekend. More to come on that.

From the beautiful rolling hills of Giles County. Friday, December 12, 2008. A Second Year of Bumbling Along. Official) stopped by and seemed puzzled by our lack of sanity. Steve walked up saying it was "just getting hot enough to get some work done" Rusty just laughed and shook his head. That talk-a-bouts worked real well and saved many steps on long fence pulls. A local dog would come help and we nicked named him Maynard (1). Steve is renown. Tony Jordon, Dad, Beth and the girls and Chuck. A major chal...

From the beautiful rolling hills of Giles County. Saturday, April 25, 2009. The cattle and Gypsy have made it through the winter with a minimum of hay. Grazing was feasible for most of the winter months by the use of rotating paddocks and the grass emerged fairly early with some warm days in February and March. Jim, Fred, and Steve and Jennifer were there on Palm Sunday weekend w. The native warm season grass seems to be progressing as intended. Jim mowed the ar. The ponds are in good shape thanks to Jim...

The Newton Family
Friday, August 2, 2013. We beat the heat in our pool! But, all in all, it was a fun trip! Ken and I enjoyed a night out for our 14th anniversary. Thanks mom for watching the kids! We had lots of fun watching Violet for the day. It was so funny because both girls started crying and whining as soon as we broke out the super yard. They do not like to be penned in! It's so fun watching them really start to play together now that they are getting older! Thursday, August 1, 2013. I just LOVE dressing Elyana up!

The Newton Farm
From the beautiful rolling hills of Giles County. Tuesday, June 7, 2016. Old Pictures taken at the Farm. Uncle Maynard and Aunt Lillie. Without these two the farm would not be in the family. They lovingly improved and maintained the place for many years before passing on the place to Fred Newton and Joe Newton. These pictures were found in Fred's house following his death and were most likely collected by his mother Maggie. Monday, January 17, 2011. Snowfall and the Sugar Creek Winter Games. Examples of ...
Newton Farm Barn
Monday, 13 December 2010. January to December 2010. Slow progress in 2010 as the Farmhouse remains unsold after 12 months and so we are working on the new build ourselves as time allows. We fitted the windows and doors and the guttering( although last week the very heavy snow has brought down 2 sections), and after much chasing and arguing the services, Gas and Water are connected and tomorrow the Electricity is being connected. We have also sourced enough paving blocks ( Ebay again! Friday, 31 July 2009.
