Three Kids, Two Sticks: November 2009
http://threekidstwosticks.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 29, 2009. I don't even know what to call this. Over the summer, I checked out a library book called Confessions of an Organized Homemaker. In October, I finally admitted the damn thing was lost. Irony. I ended up paying for it, and the librarian told me that if I keep the receipt and find the book within a year, I could bring it back and they'd refund my money. Tuesday, November 17, 2009. Today we went out to the Norman Bird Sanctuary. For a homeschool raptor class. The past few weeks.

Three Kids, Two Sticks: home
http://threekidstwosticks.blogspot.com/2010/04/home.html
Wednesday, April 21, 2010. We're closing on our new house (! In less than a week. I had intended to spend this month moving and sorting, but 3 inches of water in the basement, strep throat x3, a birthday party, and a few days of beautiful weather derailed those plans. Pictures to come. gulp. Beth told me your exciting news :) Nice to have some time to pack and move slowly (especially with 3 kids! See you on saturday :). April 21, 2010 at 3:16 PM. lily potter knits: poem in your pocket day
http://lilypotterknits.blogspot.com/2009/04/poem-in-your-pocket-day.html
Being an account of my knitting- and family-filled life. Thursday, April 30, 2009. Poem in your pocket day. When reading it, or maybe because of the gruesome picture of a hand reaching up out of the water, with a drop of blood hanging off its finger (the picture below, Inchcape Rock by Gerry Lazare. Isn't the exact one from the book, but it's pretty close). Regardless, to this day if you say to anyone in my family "Oh Christ! They'll reply "It is the Inchcape Rock! Inchcape Rock by Robert Southey. And th...

Being an account of my knitting- and family-filled life. Thursday, May 29, 2008. Is this thing on? Oh, hello there! Yes, I know it's been awhile (holy crap, has it really been over. Since I've talked to you, and I'm sorry if you were worried. it's just that things have been a bit hectic here. See, I'm 16 weeks pregnant, right? And I've got this 2-year-old cyclone, er. I haven't been keeping up on the housework either? And enter yourself in my contest. The two colors look gorgeous together, and the yarn i...

lily potter knits: photo meme
http://lilypotterknits.blogspot.com/2009/02/photo-meme.html
Being an account of my knitting- and family-filled life. Thursday, February 5, 2009. Amy tagged me for a photo meme recently, so here goes. The rules are: Go to your sixth picture folder and pick your sixth picture. Pray you remember the details. Tag five others. My sixth folder is labeled "Around the House- Spring 2006" and the sixth picture in it (taken on May 28, or so says my computer) is this:. So I figured I'd post a picture of her crying, too, just so you could see how much they look alike. Tell h...

Three Kids, Two Sticks: August 2009
http://threekidstwosticks.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 31, 2009. Now I know why I was so. desperate to squeeze in the last of summer. The pool is cold (78), and there are no temps predicted above the high 70s for the next ten days. I'm really glad I snuck in a night swim last weekend. Annabelle's fifth birthday is next week. I'm attempting to knit her a sweater in 6 days. Possible? I think so. She chose this. Enzo got his first real haircut. It makes him look like a big kid. I think I'll just let it grow out again. I'd wear it all the time.
