Sunday, March 18, 2012. Eli is now 3 months old! So hard to believe how big my baby is getting. He continues to talk all the time and has started laughing out loud! We have been giving him tummy time since he was a few weeks old, and the day he turned 14 weeks, I laid him on his stomach and he just rolled right over like he had been doing it forever! He still can't get all the way around, but he can now roll from his stomach to his back and from his back to his side! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Sunday, January 1, 2012. Christmas this year was wonderful! Santa came to see Eli at our house and we've been to several gatherings, with one more to go! We got up at 7 to see what Santa brought Eli, he stayed awake for that and for me and David to open his presents. He was very excited. He spent time with grandparents, aunts and uncles, and cousins, we all had a great time getting to see our families, although we wish we could have seen everyone. Here are some pictures from Christmas day.

Wednesday, December 14, 2011. Baby Bump, Month 5. Here it is in all it's glory! I was just complaining to my mom the other day that I felt weird going into baby stores to look at cribs because I didn't look pregnant enough to be there. Well, this baby must have heard me loud and clear because the belly has arrived. I also started feeling Baby H squirming around in there last weekend and it is so neat! Thursday, December 8, 2011. Heart rate (over 140 = girl, under = boy): ours was 130 on Tuesday, so boy.

Sunday, January 29, 2012. I've been crazy about reading pregnancy blogs lately and I've decided that I haven't posted nearly enough in mine to document this journey. I think I can be extra good about it for the second(ish) half of this pregnancy. So far, here's how it's going down:. Baby is the size of a:. Rutabaga (which apparently is 13 1/2 inches long. Monday, December 26, 2011. Eli turned one month old on Christmas day. He had a check up last Monday and everything is going great! He was not gaining as much weight as they would have liked to start with, so we increased feedings to every two hours. He gained 7 ounces in about four days, but the doctor wanted him to continue to gain about seven ounces within a week. On last Monday, he was up to 7lbs. 13oz. He had gained 12 ounces in a week! Living On Island Time. Sunday, September 9, 2012. WE ARE MOVING WHERE! I don't even know where Daufuskie Island is. Did you say the only way to get there is by ferry? There are no traffic jams, stoplights, traffic lights, speed limits? Does that mean that there are no vehicles? Let me think about this for a moment. If there are no vehicles, are there any places to shop? What do we do about food? Please tell me there are restaurants nearby. How many people live on Daufuskie Island? Are there any churches?
