Siena is filled with narrow alleyways, each one uniquely decorated. This one has what appears to be fishtail chandeliers lighting the way. Bellissimo! Go into the light. Looking out from the dark womb of the bell tower, wondering if I can once again take the scorching Italian heat #torredelmangia #siena. It snowed tonight for five seconds and left us with an amazing sunset. I’m dreaming of snow. It’s been too long since London enjoyed views like this. I photographed this dapper chap in 2012. Hope he’ll be back some time soon. St Paul’s Cathedral — A narrow view. Follow Blog via Email. Enter your email address to follow this blog and receive notifications of new posts by email. Friends Beyond the Grave. St Peter’s Basilica, Vatican City. The north wind blows through February trees. Starlings take flight in the faded London sky. Black shadows ebb and flow. Murmurations mirroring my thoughts. It’ll drive you crazy. He likes to tell the future. It makes him feel divine. His words dig deep roots that take hold. How will I know when it happens. He doesn’t hear me above the wind. It whips against my cheeks. When it happens how will I know. He shakes his head. I need to know. I visite...

White Moon Above Parliament. People whirl in a time lapsed blur. Below gilded spires and ancient brick. Along the banks of the blackened Thames. Faces framed in photographic light. A thousand selfies shine in the ether. But none as bright as the white moon. A pinhole pierced through the evening blue. This sunset illuminated my open window. View from St. Margaret’s Church. The sunset from a bridge over the Thames River. Hilary Mantel at Birkbeck. Trafalgar Square Christmas Tree. I love this city Londontown.

Author: Mary Lynn Bracht. Lovers/haters/sticker vandals, you…complete…me. In my dreams I see reds and purples and blues as vividly as blacks and greys and whites. Sometimes yellows and greens stand out over the rest. When I was a young girl, someone told me that this was impossible, that our dreams were all in black and white. I decided I must have a Technicolor painter editing my dreams because the colors were what I remembered most when I awoke. Tower of the Eater. Follow Blog via Email. Email check fa...
