To Finish Divine: October 2007
http://tofinishdivine.blogspot.com/2007_10_01_archive.html
Or the state of my knitting and quilting UFOs and other unfinished business. Sunday, October 28, 2007. It's been over a week. And I haven't posted anything about the wonder that was Rhinebeck! Talk about being overwhelmed! We walked around with map in hand, checking off the buildings as we finished them so that we would be somewhat organized. Here is my friend fondling fiber:. We also visited the buildings that had lots of these:. And Calling on Kahlo. And spent lots of money on stuff! Before we knew it,...

lekkercraft: CSA - Week 1
http://lekkercraft.blogspot.com/2009/05/csa-week-1.html
Friday, May 08, 2009. CSA - Week 1. I had been wanting to join a CSA for YEARS. There were some available in the New York City area, but I never participated because I didn't think I could get to some pick up location at the same time weekly. After moving, it was one of the first things I looked into. I looked through the offerings on Local Harvest. This is totally normal, and how the whole process works, I was just so excited to get going with it. And it was GOOD). I am thinking of trying kale chips.

http://lekkercraft.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 23, 2008. I've been waiting almost a year to post this. Around this time last year, I assisted at a couple Twinkle Knit nights at the Anthropologie. Flagship store, which were set up to promote the Big City Knits. Book Shortly after, I got an email asking if I'd be interested in test knitting a couple of patterns for an upcoming book. "WOULD I? I shouted whilst doing cartwheels, "SEND IT ON OVER! Now that Twinkle's Town and Country Knits. This is the Mistral Cardigan. This was a fun sw...

Tuesday, January 13, 2009. Some photos of my finished February Lady Sweater. Which I finished for the 2008 Ravelympics, posted about briefly here. I'm not the best lace knitter, but this 4 row repeat was manageable, and even a bit forgiving for some occasional missed YOs. I have to say, I think this sweater can do no wrong. It's flattering on everyone and easy to dress up or down. Custom fitting? Pattern: February Lady Sweater. Adapted from Elizabeth Zimmerman by Flint Knits. In Dark Burgundy (4 skeins).

lekkercraft: Catching Up... SAFF 2012
http://lekkercraft.blogspot.com/2013/02/catching-up-saff-2012.html
Friday, February 01, 2013. Catching Up. SAFF 2012. Last fall, I had my first SAFF. Experience. SAFF is held each fall at the WNC Agriculture Center in Fletcher, NC, not too far from Asheville. So fun! What better way to spend a weekend than a trip to the NC mountains for some fibery fun? I went along with some lovely friends from my knitting group, and we rented a mountain cabin for a couple of nights. We did a full day at SAFF, and had a bit of time to putt around Asheville for sights and supper. After ...

Friday, February 27, 2009. Foodie Friday : The Greenhorns. I've had this preview for The Greenhorns. Bookmarked for a while now, and thought it would be a cool thing to share for FF. The documentary will take a look at the current movement of young men and women returning to farming culture and who can be found working the land rather than working the office. I'm looking forward to seeing this. A snippit from the director's statement. Tuesday, February 17, 2009. Sheep Shearing Day (2/14/09). They mostly ...

lekkercraft: January 2011
http://lekkercraft.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 06, 2011. These are the ornaments I made this year for the annual ornament swap with my knitting group:. I followed a tutorial from Pinwheel Ponders. And used a bunch of different scrapbook papers I found on sale at AC Moore, but this would be a great way to recycle old Christmas and greeting cards, too. I gave all of them away though! So I think I'll make a couple more, to keep for next year's tree. Sunday, January 02, 2011. A very lekker new year. Perhaps some blogging again in 2011?
