Sunday, January 15, 2012. I love three day weekends. However, this just reminds us that tax season is beginning. That means several months of not having Orson home for dinner. This lifestyle is what led me to not cook very often when my kids were little. Sunday, August 28, 2011. My back was starting to feel a lot better until Friday. By the end of the day I was in a lot of pain again. So, still not back to exercising. Having the simple menu really helped last week. I am going to hopefully try a few new recipes this week. The heat has been so unbearable. We are going to check into a local resort on Friday and spend the weekend since it has a water park. Monday: fetuccini alfredo with chicken (lower fat version). Tuesday: Boston blue chicken and apple salad.

Monday, May 30, 2011. School is finally out and the short summer has begun. The kids will be going back on August 10. Today we have the holiday and on Thursday my 3 older kids are going on a pioneer trek with our church youth group. Plus we have 2 birthdays this week, so I'm thinking the menu will be unusual.
