Koshish was established in 2008 by Dr. Rajkumar (MBBS, MD). Originally it was launched to promote integrated development of urban slums and rural poor, deprived and unreached communities. The aim was to provide food, accommodation and education to children whose lives had been disrupted. The prime activities include provisioning of services and awareness creation in the areas of Health, education women empowerment, social evils and Disaster Management.

Friday, June 6, 2008. Huey Xai was the departure point for the Gibbon Experience. A 3 hour drive to the Bokeo conservation forest followed by a 3 hour hike led us to a small secluded village.
