my bloggy woggy: more paper nature experiments
http://aligraphix.blogspot.com/2011/03/more-paper-nature-experiments.html
Digital sketchbook scribblings (:. Tuesday, 1 March 2011. More paper nature experiments. Here are some outcomes from my water lilly paper session. I found the task very time consuming and would further develop this by scanning my drawing and exporting it into a c.a.d. software where I could duplicate designs and cut out using the laser machine. beth's blog !!: PRINT TO PIXEL - My Story.
http://bethgraphics.blogspot.com/2011/04/print-to-pixel-my-story.html
Blogging is all crazy and new. Monday, 11 April 2011. PRINT TO PIXEL - My Story. These are the pages of notes I jotted down about my chosen animation. I will have an ape evolving into a man (from earlier research) and also include the repeat patterns around the edge in time with the music. I also drew out the start, middle and end frames of my storyboard and had a small brainstorm about what background could be used. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Digital sketchbook scribblings (:. Tuesday, 22 March 2011. Http:/ alimation2011.blogspot.com/. Friday, 11 March 2011. Sculpture hanging in the atrium. Excuse the shoddy quality, blogger didnt like quality sizes). The way the sculpture moves is very like how plants and flowers move during the day, following the sun. This completes the nature and repetition theme and completes the project. Me interacting with the piece - viewer enjoyment. Thursday, 10 March 2011. The company name has been stencilled onto a...

beth's blog !!: PRINT TO PIXEL - My Images!
http://bethgraphics.blogspot.com/2011/05/print-to-pixel-my-images.html
Blogging is all crazy and new. Thursday, 5 May 2011. PRINT TO PIXEL - My Images! I drew out some sketchbook pages on what I did and how I created each of the frames. Each image was edited in Photoshop before then Importing them in to After Effects and cutting each image to last only one frame. I opened up the image I scanned in earlier in Photoshop so that I could edit it and keep just the figures outline. I then selected the outline and saved it as a photoshop document to then use later on. By having th...

my bloggy woggy: My Final Poster
http://aligraphix.blogspot.com/2011/03/cg.html
Digital sketchbook scribblings (:. Thursday, 10 March 2011. The company name has been stencilled onto a curved strip travelling horizontally across the page. This looks really interesting with the purply shadows coming through from the layer below. The number 100 isn't very bold as I tried making it really prominent and it ruined the grid structure and seemed to take over the whole image, subtlety makes the poster alot smoother and less thrown together. I think the poster is pretty sweet :). More paper n...

beth's blog !!: PRINT TO PIXEL - Evolution line!
http://bethgraphics.blogspot.com/2011/05/print-to-pixel-evolution-line.html
Blogging is all crazy and new. Thursday, 5 May 2011. PRINT TO PIXEL - Evolution line! I worked out how many frames and what length of time to spend on each part of the evolution. A 30 second animation = 360 frames (12fps). 20 seconds (0s-20s) = 240 frames. 10 seconds (20s-30s) = 120 frames ( I may also be able to repeat some of these frames to make the drawing process faster and more efficient.). Digital sketchbook scribblings (:. Friday, 25 February 2011. Primary Research - Taking photos in Winter gardens. Here are some rich photographs taken in the Winter gardens where I was looking for repetition and intrecate shapes. I have based the paper experimentations in my sketchbook on these shapes.
