Some of My Favourite Links. These are some of the better links that I would suggest checking out. All of a sudden it doesn't seem so difficult to get information on the Caps. If you know of other links, or would like me to add your page, please e-mail me at MsCapsFan@hotmail.com. Of course one would have to start with the NHL's "official" page. One warning - it's slow as anything when loading! An international organization dedicated to hockey's most important people - the fans. Sports Illustrated's Hocke...

In the Crease: September 2008
http://auxlepli.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 30, 2008. NHL garners 12.5 pages from 'the rag'. Checked out the four-letter rag tonight. It featured about 12.5 pages, including the cover, of it's latest issue, which is nearly 106 pages. So that's 11.3 percent. Certainly more than I expected. If the editors average more than a page per issue of NHL coverage for the rest of the season, I'll be surprised. Part of those 12.5 pages includes a paragraph or so by Bill Simmons, who wrote he's trying to like the NHL. Monday night in Indy.

In the Crease: June 2008

Tuesday, June 24, 2008. Celebration, parade, flood. Congratulations to the 2007 -2008 Detroit Red Wings, this year's Stanley Cup champions. They went wire-to-wire as the best team in hockey. Truly impressive. My brother and I drove to Detroit and took part in the revelry. We had a blast! As a city Detroit receives a lot of criticism; it's not fair in my opinion. The people are hospitable, and every time I've visited I've had a lot of fun. See, with hockey, the best team doesn't always win. A flukey p...

In the Crease: Columbus scores with NHL hockey
http://auxlepli.blogspot.com/2009/04/columbus-scores-with-nhl-hockey.html
Wednesday, April 22, 2009. Columbus scores with NHL hockey. Hello playoffs and goodbye playoffs. Looks like that's what the Columbus Blue Jackets are saying as the Detroit Red Wings are one win away from advancing. I'm glad the Jackets made it to the playoffs though. They deserve it, and so do their fans. From all accounts the first game, aside from the final score, seems to be a resounding success. Craig Custance - Sporting News:. That's great to read in my opinion. Take note snobbish, traditional-m...

In the Crease: October 2008
http://auxlepli.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Tuesday, October 28, 2008. Well yesterday I wrote I was going to listen to the game. I didn't. But I did something better. I watched the game. In Indiana! Last night was a big sports night for me with the World Series, the Colts and the Red Wings game. I had originally planned to visit my favorite local pub to catch the first few innings and couple of quarters. Then head home to listen to the game online. Instead of taking a taxi home. I headed to Hard Rock. Can I help you? Get the usual "what's that?

Saturday, May 02, 2009. Brown's head shot to Hudler. In last night's game Anaheim Duck Mike Brown crushed. Red Wing Jiri Hudler. For his actions Brown was assessed a five-minute major and a game misconduct. It's a fairly polarizing hit. The Ducks are claiming it was a clean hit. The Red Wings are saying it was dirty and vicious. Frankly watching it at game speed I thought it looked clean too. To me it was no worse than a Scott Stevens hit. If those were clean, then Brown's was clean.

Tuesday, March 31, 2009. Filled out a survey of a hotel chain. I stayed there while traveling back to Indiana from New Jersey. Below is what I wrote when asked. That's the way to do it! The game was the Red Wings and Philadelphia game on March 18. Thursday, March 26, 2009. Hockey opinions March 26, 2009. Alexander's Ovechkin after scoring his 50th goal. The four-letter's coverage of the NHL. It still sucks . hard! Last night after attending the Indiana Pacers' game I walked to a local sports bar, and ESP...
