Not for the holidays or really for the pleasure of eating but just for something different to do! She was so good at helping! Evie has been trying for weeks to find that thumb and the other day she finally got it! It was so cute! Em was right beside her sucking her thumb and Eves was on the playmat sucking hers! Nathan,Heidi,Emmalyn and Genevieve. Wednesday, May 16, 2012. Evie turns 6 months old today! We just came home from her dr visit and she weighs 13.14 lbs and is 25 inches long. Weight (surprise surprise) is in the 10th percentile and height was surprisingly in the 25th percentile! We thought she was short and chubby but apparantly she is average in height and skinny! I am exhausted from these wild girls but I do love every minute. ok, well maybe not every minute but you get the idea! So love this age!

Friday, June 24, 2011. We have been trying to plant a garden for several years now. We finally made it (a little bit late) and things are beginning to show promise. While in Texas, Pa found the need to install an electric fence around it to keep rabbits, dogs, deer and other varmits out. Leave it to Pa to make more work. I will probably be shocked numerous times before harvest season is over. I will be canning pickled peppers. Wednesday, June 22, 2011. Concrete was poured yesterday. Beauty among the mess.

Sunday, January 23, 2011. Disney on Ice 2011. Hayley did a great job of making an authentic costume at the last minute. Thanks to Kelsey who came up with a Jessie costume of her daughters, but since Hayley spent so much time on the home-made one, we opted for that! Erik, Erin, Malachi, Elliott and Jonas. Friday, August 30, 2013. Since school started we've had a chance to slow down a bit and enjoy more evenings at home. It's been so nice! This week the boys were excited to get a new pile of dirt to play in. Actually we needed it to continue fixing the yard around the driveway, but you would have thought we got them the best new outdoor toy available!
