June 02, 2013. With the end of the school year closing in and 6th grade promotion around the corner. Nia and her friends organized their own celebration with food and water fun under the sun! Their pot luck was filled with typical tweener dishes: pizza, chips, and donuts! October 19, 2012. I signed up right away and invited Javier to be my dinner guest. We were both so excited! I don't own any white clothing, so I went on a mission to find a dress and shoes for the white event. I did pretty well for myself, as did Javier. On the night of the dinner, we showed up at Balboa Park, our designated meeting area, and found out our secret destination was Harbor Island. All the groups were bused in to the location- there were approximately 1,000 people there! Keep it clean, kids.

November 22, 2012. Last year I gave thanks for my iPhone. The year before that, it was for things like coffee and Facebook. This year I give thanks for the things that have become so rare, I just want to give a massive high five to anyone that shares the same feeling, or better yet, to anyone that has shared them with me. We’re all busy. People fill their days with things to do or places to go, and very often complain that there just aren’t enough hours in the day to finish all that needs to be done.
