memorias en film: Pumpkinhead (Happy Halloween!!!)
http://niainneverland.blogspot.com/2014/10/pumpkinhead-happy-halloween.html
This is sort-of a school assignment, but not really at the same time. For my Portfolio class, we had to come up with goals we wanted to set for ourselves, both short-term and long-term. One of my short-term goals was to carve my first pumpkin and document the process this Fall. I had never gotten the chance to carve a pumpkin for Halloween, although I always wanted to! And so I went pumpkin picking with my good artist friend, Jackie! Woah, which is 'THE ONE'? While watching my friend begin to carve hers.

memorias en film: Compositions 1
http://niainneverland.blogspot.com/2014/10/compositions-1.html
I've decided I wanted to start posting my composition studies, since it's something I do quite regularly and has affected my artistic growth tremendously. What I do is I either sketch, anything really, or take "random" photographs to exercise my artistic eye.if that makes any sense. I also found this really helpful site. For anyone who currently practices photography. Here's one of my fat cat, Sunny, because he is king of the house:. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). 23 Visual Artist. USA.

memorias en film: September 2012
http://niainneverland.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
This roll is from LAST summer (2011). I used generic film from Walgreens that I got for free because I got. One of those re-useable cameras that guaranteed free film. Every time it was brought into Walgreens. This was my way of recording my experience, moving into my first room. Away from NYC, away from my family, away from the life I previously owned. Amazing, how much has changed. These are from my recent trip to NYC. I love it when it rains and my window looks like this. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

memorias en film: accidental complements
http://niainneverland.blogspot.com/2014/05/accidental-compliments.html
I apologize for the hiatus, been very busy with school and life. Will be posting more film, and some digital work I've done recently. I don't want to babble, but I do want to point out what the title of this set means. I am mostly known for my photography, as it is the one skill I have been able to develop since I've obsessed over it for about 6-7 years now. I, like any other artist, see so much more room to grow. There is so much visual knowledge to learn. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
