Friday, May 23, 2008. DIANA my personal 'project'. I met Diana only a few days after arriving in Kenya for the first time in January of 2007. And if you look to the right you'll see an old picture of the two of us in our matching African dresses. She lived next door to my mud house within the village along. I asked her to pick out her favourite colour of each item we bought and each time a bigger smile appeared on her face. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. http://amandaflanagan.blogspot.com/2008/05/lets-get-this-party-started.html
Tuesday, May 27, 2008. LET'S GET THIS PARTY STARTED! True I saw a lot of difficult things in Kenya. But if you think that I didn't have an amazing time there, I've got you fooled! That small village that I volunteered in for 6 incredible months? Well the people that live there had to be treated for SHOCK when they saw me again! I left in such a rush last time that I knew I had to throw a serious party this time around. My good friend Jamila serves the men! The women are lined up to get something to eat.

Tuesday, September 16, 2008. Last time I wrote was a couple of months ago after I returned from my "Kenyan reunion'. I've been working hard on my programs since I came back to work, went to Canada for my sister's wedding, and came back to work again; and I want to sincerely THANK all of the people who have signed up to sponsor them since. You guys are all amazing! Now I'm getting ready to return to Kenya once again and I've got big plans. Celestine is just one part of them! I wish it were only that simple.
