July 21, 2011. The Land of the Free. Some of our friends had a 4th of July party that Nic and I were invited to! It was so much fun! We got to meet fun new couples, hit a pinata that we found at a garage sale earlier that morning for 25 cents. SCORE, have burgers, and fireworks! Boys being piros which totally freaked the wives out (on several occasions I might add). I'm not sure what these ones are called but they FREAK ME OUT! Gotta love smoke bombs. Nic was a fan of the sparklers! 12 dates of Christmas.

July 7, 2014. Fourth of July {2014}. Thinking back to last summer's 4th of July. And to make it even more wonderful, there is nothing like starting the festivities with yummy fruit pizza in the shape of a flag. Boom! And this year of course we talked about what it will be like to be witnessing the 4th through the eyes of an 8 month old little boy next year. ;). And to top it all off, this little boy sort of stole the firework show when he I felt tiny little flutters for the first time!

It is so strange to me to see how our lives have already changed so much even just in the last year! Its so exciting and im so happy where i am right now! I love that it is snowing right now and i love that everyone complains even though this is normal for utah! My parens opened an assisted living home in pleasant grove and it is so super cute!
