I told you all, I was not very consistent at this kind of thing. Oh well, a lot has occurred. First, B is home! There is much to be said about the situation and I haven't even heard all of the details yet. He returned last Thursday (9/22), has had Guard duty at the base the last 3 days and is finally, actually home today! September 11, 2005. September 10, 2005.

Another in Australia) This is a two lane highway through the desert that is continually up and down, it is north of LA and heads towards the coast. It was desolate, run down and occasionally had a gravel road to a "residence"? Here and there. It was great. 12 hours of girls talking! Great to catch up with Deb. and Kelly has been great to get to know.

She said, "well Mom, my mouth is warm and my thumbs feel cold ALL the time and so I suck my thumbs to warm them up" .smiled, and laid her head down. What a sweet excuse! January 9, 2008. Holy smokes. Em had a birthday and now my baby is 5 YEARS OLD! Em is the sweetest little pea in the world with a layer of sass once in awhile. She must get it from her Dad! She wants me to hurry so she can play webkins.

Bob and nic plus 2. Some days you are the bug, some days you are the windshield. August 11, 2008. Today I woke up to coffee delivered to me in bed! Oh ya, that happened yesterday too. How delightful! We started a day with a walk along the beach, the tide was high, the waves were loud and crashing into shore. I think I could listen to that sound all day long. We stopped for brunch on State Street, a great little diner with yummy chipotle bloody marys served with crab claws!
