Bob mumbles about gaming. Friday, May 27, 2011. Ka nama kaa lajerama. Here are some Reaper Miniature serpent guys. Very cool. I'll use them either as the basis of a Song of Blades and Heroes warband, or as Yig/Set/Valossian bad guys in an RPG game. I've done some painting recently. Bob mumbles about gaming. Friday, April 15, 2011. Well,the Iron Duke and I battled it out last night in the Lord of The Rings Strategy Battle Game. We had played the LotR game a long while ago, but I decided I wanted to try it again the Duke was game. I had a force of mixed Warriors of Minas Tirith (bows, spears, and sword and shield) along with Radagast, an unnamed Captain of Minas Tirith and a Warrior of Minas Tirith with a Standard. Not sure what my overall problem was, besides cold dice on my part.

Bob mumbles about gaming. Thursday, December 30, 2010. Lord of the Rings. Well, my daughter has started reading the Hobbit. Which has lead me to dust off my GW LoTR stuff. I have about 10 Minas Tirith foot soldiers painted up, so I'm going to finish up a bunch more of them; they are super-easy-peasy to paint. Bob mumbles about gaming. Wednesday, December 2, 2009. RPG group size ramble. I've been running a Castles and Crusades game set in the Forgotten realms. For awhile now, but am gettting. A bit burned out on the system (and maybe the setting. Part of the problem is probably that I run the game for a group of 8 players. 8 is too many, 4 to 6 is about right. Just recently with Husker football and other issues, not everyone has showed up. Those gaming sessions have been the most fun for all involved.
