Thursday, August 12, 2010. Just something I thought was cool to look at from all angles. I took a long tin container and put oasis in it. I then surrounded the edge of it with green chrysanthemums. I then filled in with roses and static then made a back 'wall' with bear grass and solidago. I used green sprayed peat-moss to fill in the gaps not wanting to use leather leaf as I normally do. Friday, June 18, 2010. Gerbera Daisy in a square bowl with black rocks. A floral display set up at Hy-Vee Fremont. A rubber plant in a double basket with Christmas greens, pine cones, and red ribbon in the other half of the basket. Peat-moss is used to cover up the pot that the plant is in and the container that the greens are held in. A simple flower arrangement done in my Hort 335 Flower Lab. While Colorado has been extremely hot this summer we did have a very early freeze which has started to change the colors in this beautiful state.
