Wednesday, October 14, 2009. April is the goal! We are teaching Elise sign language which has been so fun. Amongst the many words that she signs, these days the most important two are "baby" and "tummy." Yes, Elise has learned that Mommy has a baby in her tummy! We could not be more excited to add another little one to our family. We had to do fertility treatments again (ugh! Or maybe they will! Granola bars have become a staple for him on those days! Friday, August 13, 2010. We have been enjoying our hot tub this summer. We don't really keep it hot, just comfortable enough for those warm days. Nic brought Elise in the "big pool" and she did great until she got some water in her eyes. she was done. Elise is doing so well on the potty! I could not be more pleased. She claps each time she goes potty.and asks for a treat! Hans is doing what he does best.EATING! This boy would eat all day if I let him. Thank goodness he sleeps all night! Soon to be Hans!

Monday, April 26, 2010. We are pleased to introduce you to Hans Jeffrey. He was born April 2 at 4:01am weighing in at 6 lbs. 2 oz. and 20 inches. (I know that I said 21 1/2 before, but we were told wrong! Kari and Hans are both recovering well; Nic and Elise love that Mom is up and about again! They are also happy to have Hans here. Monday, October 31, 2011. Fun, fun, fun! The kids and I spent a week in McCall while Nic was at a conference in Michigan. We had a great time playing with Grandpa and Grandma, as well as Aunt Liesel and the Leonards. We even were able to celebrate Aunt Liesel's birthday with her! Enjoy seeing what we have been up to these past couple months! Elise loves the zipline at the "Red park.". Elise is standing in front of the Ocean Liner that came to town. We were able to go look in the windows, but they only allowed ticketed persons to enter the boat.perhaps one day! Aunt Stefanie made Elise the cutest tutu ever! Now on her waist!
