Edi organises ceramic courses in her workshop, in a variety of ceramis techniques, from beginner to advanced levels. She restricts each of her classes to a maximum of four students to enable her to provide very personal tuition. Being a trained language teacher who speaks several languages Edi has a great ability to communicate with her students and share her knowledge of her skills. Edi was born in Castiglion Fiorentino, a beautiful medieval Tuscan town. She has always been drawn to the arts, initially drawing and painting, for which she showed a natural flair and sensitivity. She also felt an instinctive desire to visit distant countries and from an early age, she travelled extensively, experiencing different civilisations, customs, beliefs and artistic traditions.
