                        Opening Packaging | Nichola Watkiss

Skip to primary content. October 18, 2013. With the box of Malteasers she found this one a little more confusing. She understood the hole in the top lid was an opening to get chocolate but wanted the second section fully open to get a full view and her hands all over the chocolate, and worked this out within 25 seconds of having the product. I found this particularly interesting to test out on a one year old with not having the ability to read yet, or have been influenced or overloaded with information.

Skip to primary content. October 18, 2013. Another thing I am interested in looking at is tear open packaging and the psychology behind this, and question what exactly it is that gets us so enthusiastic to open up a product to retrieve our goods. Stripping the brand – pushing this further | Nichola Watkiss
https://nicholawatkiss.wordpress.com/2013/10/18/stripping-the-brand-pushing-this-further
Skip to primary content. Stripping the brand – pushing this further. October 18, 2013. Here I have created a series of packaging focusing on the brand colours and packaging shape and size. The packaging includes no information, written brand information or imagery. The reason for this was to analyse the packaging and question weather this was still recognisable from the colours, and size or material of the product. This entry was posted in Uncategorized. It's quite an easy game with 30 logos to guess that everyone should be able to get a few of. The font game, as you can probabl...

Computer Science teaching resources | Nichola Wilkin Ltd.
We have been very impressed with the quality of the resources and the content. The resources have taken away the anxiety about the new computing curriculum for us. The SOW and lesson plans are easy to follow and the level sheets make it simple for the students to level their own work. The students have responded very well to the lessons and are enjoying the challenges. An excellent set of resources, thank you. PD Director of Information Communication Technology. Nichola with an H
