Sunday, December 9, 2012. We started a new tradition of eating something orange (usually it was something pumpkin) everyday for the month of October. Thank goodness Tanner brought some canned pumpkin back from the US or else I would have had to pay $8- $10 US a can here. Pumpkin pancakes were a hit! As was pumpkin soup. We volunteered to lead an English story time at a local library, we all loved it. A day in the life of Ford. Sadly an only child from 8am-4pm, however he seems to be entertaining himself.

Tuesday, December 4, 2012. Reese started 1st grade! Beck started Pre-K at a local Chinese school! Ford was happy to be reunited with our Ayi! We did a lot of swimming. Enjoyed nights out around the City. Checked out an Art exhibit. Celebrated our 9th Anniversary! Tanner was able to squeeze in a camping/fly fishing trip in Mongolia over a weekend in between meetings! Can you believe the size of this bird? Tanner's dealer took he and his boss golfing one day in Mongolia as well! December 4, 2012 at 9:36 PM.

Monday, September 17, 2012. The coolest welcoming crew ever was at the Portland airport to greet Parker on his return from his mission to Slovakia! The whole family, except Tanner, was present with awesome signs and pictures of Parker when he was a kid and we were even on time! Parker was originally supposed to arrive Thursday evening but an expired visa landed in him jail for the day instead! So after another long day of waiting Parker came home on Friday! She fell asleep while digging for worms and stayed asleep while I mowed the grass around her. Thursday, October 4, 2012. We all went to see BYU vs. Weber State. It was hot but we had a good time. Ashtyn loves her Cougar shirt! Anytime we see someone playing football she says, "Daddy plays that." Calla now wants to be a cheerleader when she grows up but luckily she also wants to be a runner and a bike rider! Thursday, October 4, 2012. 1st Day of School. Calla loves preschool and was so excited for it to finally start after waiting all summer! She planned her hairstyle, outfit, and made her own lunch. Ashtyn wanted the same hair do as Calla and her own lunch and backpack. She will definitely be ready for school next year! Calla has the cutest teachers ever, Mrs. Pati and Mrs. Linda. Friday, 19 October 2012. Speak Up in Brum. Me and Toby were invited up to birmingham on Wednesday to perform at Speak Up, a wicked night hosted by the lovely Jodi Ann Bickley. We had such a brilliant time, it's going in my all time top 5 gigs ever. Jodi made the night so brilliant for us and all the first timer open mic guys.
