It was getting so bad that nobody would ever share a room with him. I have to admit, I kind of liked being able to hear him breathing from my room at night. Anyways, so we took him to an ENT and he said his tonsils and adenoids needed to come out. So, December 18 was the day! Jack was a trooper! I was so proud of him! Disney World Nov 2009.

Saturday, January 30, 2010. I can't believe that I am so far behind on posting pictures! We have been super busy, so I will attempt to update our blog. Nick had a really fun time this past fall getting into Cyclecross bike racing. It is pretty fun to watch. They race through grass, dirt, road, up hills, and over logs. We spent all day every Saturday at his races. Jack really got into it and loved ringing the cowbell and cheering for his dad. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Tuesday, September 15, 2009. Nick and my dad rode their bikes 206 miles from Logan to Jackson Wyoming last Saturday. I am so proud of both of them for finishing before dark! My mom, Jack, and I spent the whole 12 hours in the car meeting them at each stop with water and snacks. This was Nick at the first stop. He was so fast that I didn't see him again until the finish line! My dad had to make some new friends to ride with because Nick ditched him at the very beginning. September 20, 2009 at 1:10 PM.

Thursday, May 5, 2011. These are one of my new favorites Ranunculus. They aren't fragrant. But they're cheap (only $4 at Trader Joe's) and they lasted a good week. I love the color variation in the petals. I've been trying to add some color to our yard so I planted some bulbs.lilies (above, but not blossoming yet) and tulips, dahlias, paperwhites. Saturday, August 7, 2010. Hello again Disneyland.we missed you ;). Our first trip back to Disneyland! I even got the girls new princess Tiana. Dresses so they could dress up for our fun day the way Lexi always used to. Lily loved it, no surprise since she lives in a princess dress most days anyway. But Lexi wasn't too into it anymore halfway through the day she wanted to be comfortable rather than all princessed. Van's first trip to Disneyland! Gotta get pictures with characters! Van looks a bit disturbed.

We loved being on the east coast for the last 4 years and we miss all the wonderful friends we made in Charleston, SC and D.C. area.but we are happy to be back home in California. This time we live right by Bremen's base near downtown San Diego and we love it! This is one of the few really settled rooms. This is our house, built in 1923. Our 39 steps leading up to the house. You do find gems to live in!

Friday, February 5, 2010. California here we come! Bremen got his orders today.we'll be moving to San Diego in June! We thought we had another year here in Charleston but we were wrong! We can't wait to get back to our family, our friends, low humidity weather without many mosquitoes, Utah only a day drive away, a cabin in the mountains only 2 hours away, In n out burgers, meeting Oma. And Disneyland ;). And so begins a new chapter in our lives.bittersweet. But mostly sweet ;). So happy for you guys!
