A Day in the Life...: Lantern Fest 2015
http://bradyandnick.blogspot.com/2015/07/lantern-fest-2015.html
A Day in the Life. Thursday, July 23, 2015. Ever since I watched Tangled, I've dreamed of seeing Chinese lanterns released into a night sky. I had honestly never heard of that happening in America and had this crazy idea that I'd have to travel thousands of miles to ever see it happen. One day, I saw an article on Facebook for Lantern Fest 2015 and lo and behold.they were coming to Wichita! When we got there, there were a lot of people, but the parking wasn't too bad and the area was huge, so it wasn't c...

A Day in the Life...: July 2014
http://bradyandnick.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
A Day in the Life. Monday, July 28, 2014. It only lasted for a moment.his cheek on mine. Moments before, he had creeked open my bedroom door and peeked around to see if I was awake. I was, of course, but only because I had heard his tip-toeing across the kitchen floor. He whispers into the dark- "Mommy? I could tell he was trying to stay awake because oh, how this child hates to miss any moment of life, but his eyelids got droopy and his breathing got quiet. Monday, July 28, 2014. A Day in the Life...: T-ball recognition night
http://bradyandnick.blogspot.com/2015/07/t-ball-recognition-night.html
A Day in the Life. Wednesday, July 29, 2015. Last week, Tommy had t-ball recognition night at the Towanda Pool. I was hesitant to go because I had a feeling it would be PACKED, but I remember all the little "end of season" parties that we used to have when I was a kid and how much I loved going to them. So we went! And I'm glad we did. It WAS pretty full because it was for all of the league teams (three different towns). But Tommy had so much fun! Each player got a medal and then they got to swim. She ju...

A Day in the Life...: 4th of July 2015
http://bradyandnick.blogspot.com/2015/07/4th-of-july-2015.html
A Day in the Life. Monday, July 20, 2015. 4th of July 2015. We had such a good time this year! Independence Day is one of my favorite holidays! We took our annual trip to Stockton with Nick's family. We left the weekend before 4th of July and spent about 4 1/2 days there. The water was nice and the lake was fairly empty (which is the BEST way to enjoy it). Nick got to spend a lot of time fishing and we both got to relax and ENJOY our children for long stretches of time. This next picture KILLS me! Tessa ...

A Day in the Life...: By His wounds
http://bradyandnick.blogspot.com/2015/07/by-his-wounds.html
A Day in the Life. Friday, July 24, 2015. Did I mention my kids are healed from asthma? No biggie. They've just been touched by the hand of God, that's all. Seriously, I'm SO excited to report that they no longer need daily breathing treatments! It's something I've prayed about for a long time now. Almost every night we'd pray that their lungs would work the way they were supposed to and that God would take their asthma from them. And He was faithful to complete it! And they did great! A Day in the Life...: September 2014
http://bradyandnick.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
A Day in the Life. Sunday, September 21, 2014. 1st day of preschool. So I'm a little behind all the other cool moms that had their kids pose with a chalkboard and post it the second they walk out the door! Mom fail on my part! Let's start with the lead up to the first day of preschool. We went to enroll him the week before school started. As you can see, he was very excited and INSISTED on taking his bookbag with him! It's half the size of his body, but he wore that thing all over that night! He was not ...

A Day in the Life...: April 2015
http://bradyandnick.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
A Day in the Life. Tuesday, April 14, 2015. They keep me laughing. My kids always have me laughing. They're just so dang funny and say the most hilarious things that sometimes catch me off guard. The other day I was looking for garage sales and couldn't find any. Tommy said, "Well, mom, I guess it's just not garage sale season." Then after a long pause, he said, "But it IS rifle season! She so casually called her brother a shit. After I laughed, I had to correct her. But still.SO funny. Some things that ...

A Day in the Life...: August 2015
http://bradyandnick.blogspot.com/2015_08_01_archive.html
A Day in the Life. Tuesday, August 25, 2015. My little walking accident. Tommy is the most accident prone child I have ever encountered. I know every kid runs into (literally) their fair share of bumps and bruises, but my goodness! This kid has a knack for it. He's so good at it that I would almost consider it a talent. Unfortunately, the injured area is almost always his head. She said, "Brady! I wouldn't joke about something like that. Meet us there! I hate that we've had to go there so many times, but...

A Day in the Life...: October 2014
http://bradyandnick.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
A Day in the Life. Friday, October 31, 2014. Our first field trip. Tommy's first field trip was in October to the Apple Jack Pumpkin Patch. I might have been. A little excited about the whole thing and spent a lot of time talking up the trip to Tommy. I took the morning off work to go with him. We were both going to ride with my friend Kristin and her daughter Katie (who's in Tommy's class and is his favorite friend! We loaded up in Kristin's car and off we went! No, no, no! I was starting to get embarra...
