Books, Books and Books. I have been reading a lot lately, both with my friend at work and on my own. I attempted to read The Catcher in the Rye. By JD Salinger, and I have to say, I was not up for the challenge. I wanted to appreciate the interesting writing style and realize how important the book was, but I just didn't. SoI moved on. SoI finally figured out what has been keeping me from this blog. I'm happy. Work is on the right track, even if it is keeping me busy. I am a better, faster runner than I was at the beginning of this journey. I love it. I love how it makes me feel and look lol. I'm reading, on and off. Sometimes books get boring, and I get busy. Wednesday, December 26, 2012. This morning we woke up to some snow on the ground. As the day went on I think we ended up with about 7-8" of snow. The kids begged all day to get out in it. For us, this is the first measurable snow fall in about two years. Last year was unusual in that we had no snow .but very cold temps. The littles sat at the window and watched. Monday, December 17, 2012. Paislee had her 3 year check up with Dr. K. She is not a big fan of the doctor's office but she likes Dr. K. I kind of knew how she was going to react so I tried to talk to her earlier in the day about what we were going to do and what was going to happen to her. As soon as we got there everybody had to go see the fish. They love looking at this acquarium. Can you tell she was thrilled to be there? This was pre-shot and him getting into the doctor's drawers. Height = 37 in (49%).
