Walking With God On The Road of Childlessness: Praise You In The Storm
http://nick-cameron-its-ok-to-cry.blogspot.com/2009/04/praise-you-in-storm.html
Walking With God On The Road of Childlessness. Friday, 10 April 2009. Praise You In The Storm. I think that I have posted this song before after someone e-mailed it to me a few years ago - but over the last few days it has kept going through my head! Listening to some of the lines of this song just seem so applicable to me, I have put the lyrics below because I find it helpful to read them as well as just listening to it. Praise You in This Storm. Words by Mark Hall/music by Mark Hall and Bernie Herms.

Walking With God On The Road of Childlessness: March 2009
http://nick-cameron-its-ok-to-cry.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Walking With God On The Road of Childlessness. Saturday, 28 March 2009. The Battle of Mother's Day. So many people don't realise the battle that Mother's Day brings for so many people. I have wondered about posting something nearer the day but I know all too well how much it hurts so left the post till a week later! The reality is that so many people do ache - perhaps their Mother has passed away and the void is there - every year that reminder comes of someone so important in their lives no longer there.

The Best is Yet to Come: Some quotes on Romans 7
http://peterjrday.blogspot.com/2008/03/some-quotes-on-romans-7.html
The Best is Yet to Come. Some quotes on Romans 7. There have been a number of comments. On my previous post. Concerning the nature of Romans 7. I realise that that I will be disagreeing with many learned people, and so I do not want to present a "final answer" to debate on Romans 7 - rather I just want to share some quotes from good commentators. Whatever else, this passage does not. Quoted in Terry Virgo, God's Lavish Grace. The argument supporting a reference to Christian experience is exegetical but e...

The Best is Yet to Come: November 2007
http://peterjrday.blogspot.com/2007_11_01_archive.html
The Best is Yet to Come. Gathering the church God's way. I have been so challenged to read Terry Virgo's. Latest blog post (HT: Life on Wings. As a pastor, I have a burden to see the church built - for people to be saved and added to the local church, but also for them to grow in maturity, in love for Jesus, in passionate worship, in joyful service. I long for the church to display the glory of Christ to the surrounding area, even to the nations. Indeed our church's vision statement. God’s flock wi...

The Best is Yet to Come: What Happens If We Sin?
http://peterjrday.blogspot.com/2008/04/what-happens-if-we-sin.html
The Best is Yet to Come. What Happens If We Sin? At the moment over on Life on Wings. A couple of posts have led to some important discussion in the comments, about both the source of holiness. And also about whether our experience of the power of God is linked to our purity. Anyway - here goes (please excuse the note form! Text 1 John 1:5-2v1. Does it mean that sin doesn't matter? Does it make us less perfect in God's sight? I) Why sin matters. We have been given the Holy Spirit. We are told “...As we g...

Walking With God On The Road of Childlessness: January 2013
http://nick-cameron-its-ok-to-cry.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Walking With God On The Road of Childlessness. Tuesday, 15 January 2013. In January 2010 it felt like my life crumbled to pieces! We also wanted somewhere that be willing to let us 'just be' for a while - we knew that God had clearly been telling us that we needed time and space to heal. Pratically we also wanted somewhere local so we could walk if necessary and a hope that others from the Church would also be local! We found such a Church in Southlands www.southlands.org.uk.
