Tuesday, July 5, 2011. Charleston - Folly Beach, SC Vacation 2011. Our day in Charleston. We had an awesome family vacation with Jason's family in Charleston - Folly Beach, SC. When we left Myrtle Beach from Teri Lynn's wedding we drove to Charleston for some more beach time. My parents joined us there for the first few days. We all took a boat ride to Fort Sumter one day. Sunday, June 26, 2011. Yankee vs Reds Game. We were fortunate to receive tickets to the Yankees vs. Reds game last week. John has a friend who works for the Yankees organization. Oddly enough, I was seated next to one of the owners of the Yankees! And the Yankees won, too! The only thing that would have made it better is if my favorite player, Derek Jeter had been playing. Saturday, May 14, 2011. Gran, Gehrig and I went to see the Pegasus Parade this year. I used to watch the parade with my mother and grandmother. It was a lot of fun to share this my child and mother. The weather was perfect. It was a gorgeous day! Gehrig liked the big balloons the best. Look forward to attending next year's. Our day with Big Red. The long awaited T-ball season began on May 7. Monday, February 6, 2012. Big Red Rascal Night at WKU. Big Red invited all the rascals to attend the men's basketball game with South Alabama. Thursday, January 5, 2012. It's amazing what makes a person happy or excited as an adult. For me, it was finally after 13 yrs getting a new sofa and loveseat.
