Nick and Kim and Cole. Friday, March 23, 2012. Yesterday was such a beautiful day (80 degrees) that my friends decided to head to the Audubon reserve and Colette and I tagged along. It is this reserve where you walk through a field of tall grasses and cat-tails, and a pond or two, before it takes you to the beach. And we think the hold up was that she learned to 'walk' on her knees so there was no reason to learn how to use her feet. Just to catch you up with the most exciting thing that has been happening to us.our basement flooded over Memorial Day weekend! We came home to find the whole basement in water. When you stepped on the carpet the water came up to your ankles. I stopped halfway down the stairs and just stared! I just know it is going to take all summer, and that's what's frustrating. Oh well!
