Tuesday, April 29, 2008. About a week ago I flew home with my friend Emily to go pick up my newly purchased car in Colorado Springs. We stayed for a brief visit at home and had a grand time. We spent some time walking around Garden of the Gods, visited with Ben and Kim, met Hyrum (for the first time! And Rick and Mandy, and on the way home we stopped in Fruita to pose with Mike the Headless Chicken. It was a great trip and a nice break in the middle of finals! Friday, April 25, 2008. Tuesday, November 27, 2007. BYU vs. Utah. Friday, November 16, 2007. So, this is the latest addition to our apartment. His name is Elmer and he is a beta fish. Laura got him at a nursing conference where he participated as a center piece. We've never had a pet in all the years we lived together, but she loves him dearly. Tom, Kaylene, Ann and Ian. October 27, 2014. This fall has been absolutely beautiful! I told Tom the other night that I feel like this fall has been the prettiest fall we've had since moving here. I've had to make sure I don't get too distracted by all of the colors while I'm driving - I just want to sit and look at it all!
