It is based in Braddon NSW and although Oliver himself is German, the restaurant offers a whole gamut of international cuisine. MetroSpecs is an optometrist and optic dispenser located in the Marrickville Metro, Sydney. While working at Medusa Designs we were approached to do a company re-brand. Given the name, it was obvious from the start that this brand would have metropolitan aesthetic. I think it's important to do something every now and then just to test yourself and do something fun without a commercial purpose in mind. I have been involved in a handful of exhibitions such as Decked Out, Type Face, Totally 90s Versus, Look See and Super. I have also experimented with different letterpress techniques and attended workshops for lettering, sign writing, letterpress and type design. Included here are a few of my favourites:. I designed a unique typographic treatment for each blend and single origin coffee as well as an additional special release label.
