Monday, November 26, 2012. Oahu vacation with the Nohner's! The island behind us is called "China Man's Hat". Back in Maui, at our favorite beach, Sugar Beach. Lanai is behind us. Thank You to the Nohners for a great vacation filled with wonderful food, adventures and company! The basil in our garden began to look like a small shrub, so we decided to put it to good use. Homemade pesto! We used macadamia nuts instead of pine nuts. Group Thanksgiving picture at Judy Hawkin's house! Sunrise at our campground.

We had this product shipped to us as a gift to Hawaii. It was packaged perfectly so when it got to us, it was still frozen!

Friday, July 27, 2012. Life has started moving pretty fast for the two of us starting in May 2012. Both of us are changing jobs, getting married and moving to Hawaii. Spokane has been really good for the both of us and it was a little tougher than I imagined to leave. This is a picture of the neighborhood park we used to walk through and toss the disc around in. I caught a tree, tangled the line, then lost the fly. Nick and Christin holding down the front while David continues to do all the work.

First weekend of feeling like it could be a home! The other weekend was a 3 day weekend to celebrate fiesta- each city/town has a fiesta for their respective Patron Saint. As part of the efforts to recover in the typhoon struck area of Philippines, CRS (Catholic Relief Services) has a livelihoods team works to have registered members (in the thousands! Attend Agricultural Input Fairs wherein the local vendors are pre-approved by CRS for quality merch and availability of goods and the members are given a pack of vouchers in lieu of cash in which they can spend it at the fair. The littlest Muzungu in Moroto. Little Pietro is back in Moroto and walking everywhere and grabbing everything! He is such an adorable munchkin whose folks work for an Italian NGO here.
