Not an intern anymore | Tableau Blanc
https://iconoclastiac.wordpress.com/2014/09/08/not-an-intern-anymore
The permanence of meaning after the words have faded. Not an intern anymore. In the past few weeks, I’ve started to notice a change. It has taken long enough, and is probably overdue, but it’s finally starting to happen. I’m gaining a little confidence, and with it, more initiative. I want to do things. I want to branch out. I want to teach. I want to get involved. I can have fun. I wish I’d felt like this a year ago. Click to share on Google (Opens in new window). Share on Facebook (Opens in new window).

The permanence of meaning after the words have faded. Big, fat, juicy pile of mistakes. I know that to be the truth and yet, I can’t shake the anger, the frustration, and the desire to continue to self-flagellate. Fanning the flame of misery can be strangely addictive. I need to go for a very long run tomorrow and build up some lactic acid instead. Click to share on Google (Opens in new window). Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window). The permanence of meaning after the words have faded. Giddiness and disinhibition increase with staying up overnight. Had I been awake for one more hour, I would have actually said it. Go so far, with so far yet to go. Although really, I should be giving thanks every day–but I don’t, because I forget to take the time to. So here it is, as usual inadequate to elucidate my thoughts but completely necessary:. Thank you for another great year, full of learning, friendships, hardships, and personal growth.

Slept in | Tableau Blanc

The permanence of meaning after the words have faded. I am going on my 43rd hour since leaving Hell (which is what I will affectionately call it) in the hospital and I’ve spent 60% of that time (26 hours in the past 2 days) sleeping, if that gives you any indication of the sleep debt I am attempting to repay. I also had a meal before 5pm, which has been rare. To propel me along for the past nine days. The Emperor of All Maladies. After re-connecting with those who have made my fellowship interview trail ...

The permanence of meaning after the words have faded. You would think that I had remedied this by my second year of residency; or at least I would think so. That’s mostly why I’m so frustrated. With the new Great Gatsby flick out, noted internet researcher and artist, Nickolay Lamm. Came up with this pretty cool graphic illustrating how much money Gatsby would need to live in the modern day, and what kind things he’s spending the big bucks on (spoiler alert: parties). Doesn’t seem completely right that Gatsby’s. View all posts by Orko Bagchi →. Spotti...

Anjili's Insights: July 2013

Anjii's view into the changing society for women and the complex world we live in. Observation, Opinion, and down right Reality. Wednesday, July 3, 2013. Hope the title isn't too clever, but the topic for discussion is YOLO (ugh) and the song "Blurred Lines" by Robin Thicke. Stemming from a song by Drake. Means You Only Live Once. It is a degraded version of Carpe Diem. For those of you who have seen. You must also cringe at YOLO as well. The censored music video for "Blurred Lines" tries to make is more...
