Tuesday, June 29, 2010. Victory Day is celebrated on May 9th in Kazakhstan. It is a national holiday that celebrates the Soviet Unions victory over Germany during World War II. My city had a "big" parade to celebrate. It was my first Soviet Style military parade. I really enjoyed it. Here are some pics.

My Life in Kazakhstan. Saturday, August 13, 2011. I then went home and did the last of my packing up. Oksana, Ludmilla Sergeevna, Ludmilla Iosifovna, and Me! I left the next day to go into to Kokshetau to stay the night before getting a taxi to Astana. Ludmilla, her husband and daughter came to pick up me and my luggage. My Life in Kazakhstan. Sunday, July 10, 2011. I haven’t even said goodbye yet! This does not bode well. Just one song spurred all these thoughts, and I had to write them down (In case you're curious, the song is Hello, I'm in Delaware by City and Colour - yeah, I've mentioned this band before). I feel like I've felt the full spectrum of emotions here in Kazakhstan, and to be honest, I don't want to forget any of them - both the good and the bad. Most of) Kaz-21, dancing it out in Astana.
