Fathers’ Church, the temporary location of Koers is Religie (Cycling is a Religion) exhibit. Near the bottom of the climb is a small bed and breakfast with a fair collection of bottles from races that have passed by. On the way back I added a little extra time with a short out and back along one of the canal roads. It was one of the nicest roads I have ever been on, perfect pavement, trees lining the road and everything was green, the pictures don’t do it justice. 2 thoughts on “ Cobbles!

There were several food trucks and a few carnival rides as well. Before the start at Izegem. Follow me on Strava. The adventures of Nick Perhala. August 9, 2016. Saturday’s race was Southeast of Brussels. I took an hour and a half train ride over to Brussels then rode about 20km from the train station to the race. It was a bit of a challenge to get out of Brussels but after many map checks finally made it to the race. I was just barely in time, less than 5 minutes before registration closed. When I turned in my number after the race I found that I had placed 29th of 54, in the money again!
