Nick Rathert's Design Blog. Web Designer, Chicago. Thursday, March 26, 2009. As I mentioned in a previous post, I'm in the midst of updating the design and backend of my Web site. Because of various commitments (work, etc), progress is slow. But there is progress, indeed! I'm going to try to make a habit out of posting Web site redesign news to my blog as it occurs. Hence, this post. Right now it's pretty much just the layout. More design elements will be added in the coming days/weeks.

Nick Rathert's Design Blog: February 2010
http://nickrathert.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Nick Rathert's Design Blog. Web Designer, Chicago. Saturday, February 6, 2010. There doesn't seem to be much going on with my site's redesign, right? Well, there's a reason. After completing the preliminary coding for my Website, I decided I wanted to code it in HTML5 and (some) CSS3. That required me to more or less start over. Starting over has also allowed me to make pseudo-significant tweaks to the design. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Web Designer, Chicago. Chicago, IL, United States.

To be honest I’ve struggled to decide which game is my all time favourite, especially with so many modern classics like. After careful consideration, I managed to narrow it down to about fifteen games spanning over all the console generations. And then it struck me, I shall review the game that inspired me to pursue a career in the video game industry. Back in 1992 a game developed by. And a brand spanking new copy of.

Games History and Context. Sunday, May 14, 2006. Games History and Context: My Appraisal (942). First impressions are important and pleasantly my first impressions of this module have been one of anticipation and curiosity. As with every module at university they all pose a challenge, usually one of a technical nature. With this in mind it came as a surprise to find my technical abilities put to one side and my analytical and verbal skills put to test. As the module progressed assignment pieces, like:.
GAMES SCRIPTING 2
Sunday, December 17, 2006. Time Displacement FINAL ASSIGNMENT. Conception and Game planning. How can we make it less like Unreal 2004? My reasoning behind this was it would be easy to create a generic UT style story with a space or futuristic combat theme. With this in mind we both devised the theme of a mining establishment that is taken over by terrorists. Creating a Game-Plan and Screenplay. You do this and I’ll do that. Construction of the Levels. Managing the Level Transitions. Now, I remember.
