Nic Kruys Nature Photography Around the Sun. Around the sun, 4X5. I love looking for order in chaos. And for chaos in order. Nature provides so many chances to do both. For me, the 4x5 image format often turns out to be the best for portraying a balanced mix of order and chaos. This gallery shows some of my attempts at finding that mix.

For me it is the perfect intermediate between a static square format and the more dynamic 2x3. I often use the 4x5 format for exploring situations where order and chaos merge in the same frame. Nic Kruys Nature Photography Around the Sun. As I previously reported, vegetation is rapidly returning to the site of the enormous wildfire that occurred in Västmanland, Sweden in 2014. Mosses and liverworts are spreading on the ground. From this moss layer birch seedlings are sprouting up all over the place. This growth and regrowth of the vegetation is going to provide large amounts of food for herbivores, who return some of the nutrients to the ground in the form of droppings. Return of the Blueberry.
