She got really shy and basically whispered. I had to ask her to repeat herself several times because he couldn't hear her. But the wishes were eventually heard, and we left with candy and smiles. Friday, July 22, 2011. July 19th started bright and early for us! Not a whole lot to it. I was grateful to have the surgery so early, because then we got to spend the whole day with her! Wednesday, July 20, 2011. Brianne Doris Martin arrived at 7:54 am on Tuesday, July 19! She clocks in at 7 pounds 3 ounces and 19 inches long. I'll post more on her and her story. Tuesday, August 9, 2011. I feel like the last few weeks of the pregnancy just dragged on and on. But Brianne is now already 3 weeks, and I can't figure out where the time went! Lainee is the perfect big sister and can't seem to get enough of her. She's also filling her days with lots of reading, another thing she can't get enough of. She's excited to get back to preschool next month, but I'm going to miss her! So if you're ever passing Rupert, feel free to stop in! Brianne's first bath. She loved it!
