Nicole und Michels Blog. Unsere Reise durch die USA 2009. Alcatraz – die Gefängnishochburg. Morgen müssen wir Frisco leider bereits wieder verlassen. Es geht den Highway No. 1 hinunter Richtung Los Angeles. Mit einer Uebernachtung natürlich… und dann neigt sich unsere Reise leider, leider auch schon bald dem Ende zu. Am Donnerstag 17:35 Uhr Ortszeit gehts ab nach Hause wieder mit Umsteigen in London. Freitags gegen 16:20 Uhr sollten wir in Zürich-Kloten landen. Von princess8213 - 22. September 2009.

Nicole und Michels Blog. Unsere Reise durch die USA 2009. Death Valley – zu heiss. Am heutigen Tag haben wir die Strecke von Vegas übers Death Valley bis nach Bishop zurückgelegt. Total eine 6 Stunden Fahrstrecke. Im Death Valley haben wir verschiedene Punkte angesteuert, aber es war einfach zu heiss, um gross ausserhalb des Autos zu verweilen. Ein Hoch auf den Erfinder der Autoklimaanlage – heute hätte ich dir die Füsse geküsst. Eingecheckt haben wir wieder im La Quinta Inn in Bishop.

Nicole und Michels Blog. Unsere Reise durch die USA 2009. San Francisco is calling. Heute war unser erster ganzer Tag in Frisco, im Hotel Adagio in der Nähe vom Union Square lässt es sich aushalten. Frisco gefällt, das Auto fahren mit all den Einbahnstrassen ist zwar nicht ganz ohne, aber uns passt endlich mal das Klima. Na gut, etwas wärmer könnt es zwischendurch schon sein.
