I need a place for the things that run through my head. so I figured why not start a blog :). Well, I was roaming throughout our church today during music rehearsal, and I started taking random pictures. Then I had a vision of two pictures. It worked perfect with the focus feature on the camera. Where is our focus? Are we focused on our trials? I need a place for the things that run through my head. so I figured why not start a blog :). I watched this YouTube video recently that showed a 13-year-old kid talk about the way he does his schooling, and how his goal is to be happy in life. So basic and yet so wise. I wondered what happened to our thinking, where we got lost in this rhythm of going to school, to go to college, to get a job, to get married. Why couldn't we differ from that? What was defining us as human beings? Video of 13 year old.

I can't tell you how many times I thought I knew what I was doing, that I was right about a situation, that I wasn't making a mistake. So many times I was let down by what I assumed was right in my life. Maybe at that moment it was, but there was a point where I was supposed to let go and it took a big push to do so.
