Saturday, October 6, 2012. 2012 Nicol-Brown Amateur Invitational winner. Alexander was the winner of the 2012 Nicol-Brown Amateur Invitational event in Albany, New York on Saturday November 6th. He placed 1st in the Piobaireachd, winning the Robert Nicol-Robert Brown Chalice for Piobaireachd; 1st in the March, Strathspey and Reel winning the William Ross Challenge Targe; and 5th in the 6/8 March. The overall winner receives airfare to compete at the Scottish Piping Society of London. History of the Event.
