Monday, May 27, 2013. Scenes from the Zoo. On Saturday, we went to the Bronx Zoo because a) I really, really love zoos, and b) I thought all the walking would put me into labor (it didn't). It was a drizzly day, which meant we were sharing the sights with very few people, and we thought it was perfect. Monkeys grooming each other. I felt right at home :). Gorilla picking his nose . . . Chris and Kristi Carter. Monday, June 13, 2011. We went to Grandma Carter's to celebrate Tyler's birthday this last week. For the activity, we set up the slip-n-slide and turned the sprinklers on. This was Gabe's first experience with getting wet outside of taking a bath and dumping water bottles on himself. He loved it! We had a hard time getting him out of the water.
