Friday, October 17, 2014. I am a person who likes to please. I do not like when I know people are upset with me. If I say yes. Everybody likes me, but being a people pleaser makes life rushed. If I say no, I have more time to enjoy the little things that are important. I have been getting farther away from Jesus because I am rushing to the bus stop, I rushing to sport events, the store. I even rush giving the kids a bath and then. Time for bed and no Jesus. Here is one of the favorite sayings out the book.

Tuesday, May 26, 2015. I had some very ripe bananas and did not want to throw them away so the girls and I decided to make easy banana bread. 3 or 4 ripe bananas, smashed (I used four). 1/3 cup melted butter. 1 cup sugar (they say you can easily use 3/4 cup, I went with a cup). 1 egg, beaten. 1 teaspoon baking soda. 1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour. Mix the egg, bananas, vanilla in a bowl and then add flour last. Pour the mixture in a 8x5 bread pan and cook for an hour @ 350. Nicole @ Nicole Clark blog.

Friday, June 5, 2015. Well we are 2 weeks into our summer break, however because of all the rain we have gotten, it has been hard to enjoy the summer things we have on our list. Sometimes it is hard to figure out what to do without a plan in place. I had the kids help me make a list on a chalkboard with all the things we want to do and try to do all of them by summers end.
