Monday, October 24, 2011. I can't believe we are already about half way through Fall! We have been so busy with school, work and enjoying the last of the good weather before the dreaded snow comes that I almost forgot to carve pumpkins-which is one of my favorite Fall activities! Jacque and I as we cleaned all the "guts" out:). Our cute pumpkins- (I got lazy and colored the last one). Every year as Fall approaches I love the smell of pumpkin treats baking-my favorite is pumpkin bread! 4 tsp Baking Soda.

Monday, April 9, 2012. Easter and 11 months}. Easter is SO much better with a little one around to share it with! Daxton's Easter fun started a few days early when he went to his Aunt Melissa's house to dye Easter eggs with his cousins, although he would have rather eat the eggs than dye them, I'm sure he still had a blast! The Easter Bunny brought Dax a couple of cute summer outfits, and of course he was spoiled rotten by his grandparents! The Easter Bunny came! Says "Momma, Dada, baba and ya".

Wednesday, June 6, 2012. Recently we were able to have a little vacation to Vegas for our good friends' Bachelor/Bachelorette parties. We had a BLAST! We stayed at the Monte Carlo, it was the opening weekend for their pools, which were awesome! Since it was the opening weekend they had plenty of games and activities, which made it even better.we spent most of our days hanging out and soaking up the sun. The first night we made our way to Margaritaville- a MUST anytime we go to Vegas! Soakin' up some rays.

Monday, March 26, 2012. Having a week off was SO great, and much needed! I feel like these last couple months have been flying by and I've been too busy to do anything fun. So I tried to do as many fun, spring, things as I could over the break. Some of the things I got to do:. Sleep in (Thanks Dax! Visit with friends and family. Celebrate my 25th birthday. Shopping with my mom at thenew City Creek. Hang out with the cutest little boy! Take Dax to the zoo. Go on walks around the lake. Play at the park.

Thursday, January 5, 2012. Dax is 8 months old today! He will be a year before we know it! He just had his weight check at the doctor and he is now 17.4 lbs, which is the 25th%. He is a happy healthy baby! Some things he is doing now. Crawling and getting in to EVERYTHING! He loves getting into the dogs food for some reason). Pulling himself up to anything possible! This is his favorite right now). Walking along with the furniture. (He'll be walking soon I'm sure). Sleeping about 10-12 hours a night.

Wednesday, June 6, 2012. We are so glad that our friends Rod and Jacque have access to a pool where they live, so we can take advantage of it! I LOVE summertime and water, so the pool is a MUST for me! Luckily, Daxton shares my love of the water and enjoys splashing all around and playing in the pool! Our little "Surfer Dude".
