Where will my next adventure be. Tuesday, June 8, 2010. Stealing Pens Cannot Be a Sin. Today, my pen saved my life! Thus, they also forgot me dancing away upstairs. So there I sat on the steps of Houhhot, in the middle of Inner Mongolia, surrounded by only Chinese who speak only Chinese! I was glad that he took me right to my destination. I went up stairs to let our director know I was back, she and many students apologized and where just glad that I made it back. What an adventure! Good to be home!

Sean, Melanie and lil Z. Saturday, July 23, 2011. Being pregnant definitely has ups and downs. I absolutely LOVE feeling and watching my baby move. The best thing ever! At night Sean and I would just watch my belly move back and forth. So crazy! On the other hand, being sick and tired and not being able to sleep is not so fun. But worth it! I had several baby showers and everyone was so nice and we got basically everything we needed and more for the baby! Angela threw me a shower for the Brown family!

It was so amazing watching the baby moving around and kicking! It took awhile before the lady was positive if it was a boy or girl but she pointed at the screen and said "you see those three dots right there. that means it's a girl! The ultrasound made it feel so real for me. that little baby was inside me and it was a girl!

Next time I totally will! To watch at least. It was so HOT that day. I think I got heat exhaustion or something and some ridiculous tan lines because I got splattered with mud and then sunburnt! It's been the most wonderful year ever and I'm so glad that I married Sean Pike last June! We celebrated by going to Lagoon and we had a blast! On Sean's birthday we went to Cowabunga Bay and had a BBQ at home. We celebrated Sean and Shane's birthdays with root beer floats of course! We really liked watching the skiers. It was a great day!
