Only this, and nothing more: July 2010
http://vcj2028.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Only this, and nothing more. What would the visitors read here are just the product of the chemical reactions in my brain. Collections of thoughts or musing that comes from my day to day activities. These could either be funny, sad, statement of facts, or just rantings. In other words, things that makes us human. Saturday, July 31, 2010. The MRT and LRT fare hike! Links to this post. Mystery and Suspense with Charles Forgues. The blog for my mystery/suspense work-in-progress, Hollow Point. Tuesday, September 28, 2010. On my journey through the blog-sphere this morning, I happened across a post that went up on J.A. Konrath's. Blog, A Newbie's. On Wednesday, September 22. The post gives statistics around how he is doing selling outside of traditional publishing. It goes a long way to assuring me that e-books, self-publishing, and self selling are here to stay. Let me know what you think.

Ler,comer e amar: Julho 2010
http://lercomereamar.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Ler,comer e amar.

Stephanie Boman: September 2011
http://stephboman.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
That's me - Stephanie Boman! Saturday, September 17, 2011. Recently I've been reading a lot of pretty good books. And then I get to the ending, which is, more often than not now, left open for an obvious sequel. Plot lines aren't finished. Relationships unresolved. Strings untied. Why can't stories be told in one book anymore? I have not been hovering over writer sites lately, so maybe this has already been discussed to death, but I had to vent. What's your experience/feelings on this? Links to this post.

Stephanie Boman: identity crisis
http://stephboman.blogspot.com/2011/03/identity-crisis.html
That's me - Stephanie Boman! Monday, March 14, 2011. I continually struggle with who I am. Not in a mental way (thank heavens! But in a how-I-portray-myself-to-the-world-way. I recently dipped into twitterland again and I noticed that many of the people I follow have something in common. Their little bios invariably start with "I am a writer . . . ". When I start an introduction with that phrase I frequently stop and think, "but that's not the only way I identify myself! I think part of the reason is tha...

Mystery and Suspense with Charles Forgues: Is My Protagonist Actually Me
http://charlesforgues.blogspot.com/2010/12/is-my-protagonist-actually-me.html
Mystery and Suspense with Charles Forgues. The blog for my mystery/suspense work-in-progress, Hollow Point. Tuesday, December 7, 2010. Is My Protagonist Actually Me. As fiction writers, we can't help but make our protagonists at least somewhat like ourselves. After all, who do we know better than ourselves? But how like us are they? Will they invariably react as we would under any gien circumstanc. I also maintain a mail-drop in downtown Denver, and very few know where in Denver I actually live. That sai...

Mystery and Suspense with Charles Forgues: Hollow Point - Chapter 2, Part 2

Mystery and Suspense with Charles Forgues. The blog for my mystery/suspense work-in-progress, Hollow Point. Tuesday, August 10, 2010. Hollow Point - Chapter 2, Part 2. I stepped off the shuttle bus at the Hilton's main entrance. An old man in a ratty gray sweatshirt huddled near the door, avoiding the driving wind and snow. His hair was long and greasy beneath a baseball cap too filthy to read the team insignia. The old man asked. The signal that he would break after the song and meet me in the hotel's u...

Stephanie Boman: that old sew and sew
http://stephboman.blogspot.com/2011/03/that-old-sew-and-sew.html
That's me - Stephanie Boman! Saturday, March 19, 2011. That old sew and sew. How do I love this vintage ad? Let me count the ways. I love the wife's pin curls and her apron, I love the little girl's romper and how she's clutching her baby doll, I love the traditional lunch box, and how dapper dad is. Most of all, I like how simple the message is: buy a car and give someone work. How refreshingly straight forward. Then there is no limit to what I can do. Why not make my own clothes? Im holding a 500 follo...
