The Joys of a Family! Monday, July 30, 2012. This weekend we went camping at Jefferson Lake with our small group from church. At this camp-site, there was no water hook-up or electricity, so this was a new adventure for us! The Joys of a Family! Saturday, November 24, 2012. Girl Scouts, School Projects, and Thanksgiving. Last weekend Emma had an over-night girl scout event at the Wildlife Experience Museum. I volunteered to help chaperon. This is our group of girls. There were 2 other troops there, for a total of about 40 girls. Everyone had a great time.but sleeping on the hard floor wasn't the best. Emma and her friend, Allie on a scavenger hunt. Our families has been good about sending pictures of Madden while in ND.

The Joys of a Family! Saturday, November 3, 2012. The kids had a Halloween breakfast party ¶de at school on Wednesday. They got to wear their costumes, which they were very excited about. Emma and Madden before school. Emma was a silly witch (last minute wardrobe switch) and Madden was a power ranger. The witch, Dr. Suess, and a Power Ranger. The Joys of a Family! Sunday, November 18, 2012. We celebrated Emma's birthday with her friends on Tues, Nov 6th since they didn't have school. She decided to have her birthday party at Jungle Quest, which is a place that has climbing walls, zip lines and other fun things to do. Madden with his Operation Christmas Child box. Our small group decided to do this activity this year as a way to contribute to others in time of need. Sorry for the short blog.it's been a busy week! Confessions of a Cereal Lover.

The Joys of a Family! Saturday, November 26, 2011. I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. We spent the day with the Gillis family at our house enjoying great food and company. The rest of the weekend was spent putting up tile in the kitchen. We purchased the tile off Craig's List a while back but have been waiting for Mike to have a long weekend to install it. Emma also had a sleep-over with her friend, Taylor on Friday night. Mike preparing the wall for the tile. Madden putting together our mini tree.

Kelsey interviewed for a music teaching job at Emma's school (Gold Rush Elementary) and she was offered the position on Friday! Hopefully the family will adjust to mom being gone a few days during the week! The Joys of a Family! Wednesday, August 29, 2012. Madden at the doctors office getting his 6yr check up! Emma practicing her piano lessons. Not her favorite thing to do, but she's getting pretty good at playing! Maybe she can give a mini concert at Christmas time! My kids having one of their favorite snacks! Sweet mini peppers.
