Yes I know the title is basically an oxymoron, especially here in Arizona where one does not typically bake in the summer because…ya know…7th level of hell temperatures. However, summer is the time when all the best fruits are ripe! Here are the recipes for the two I made. This time I used a cheese danish filling in each but typically I make them w/o this. 3 thin sliced ripe peaches. 1 flaky pie crust.

Oh, and I call it stuffing but it’s really dressing as I don’t stuff it into the bird, but call it what you will, it’s just darn good. Tina’s Stuffing – 2011. 2 loaves sourdough bread. 2 boxes of chicken stock. 1 leek – chopped. 2 carrots – finely diced or shredded. 4 stalks of celery – chopped. 1/4 cup finely chopped pecans. 3/4 cup dried cranberries. 1 pkg Sage Sausage.
